The Chinese government must be punished for the crime of genocide

Abdurehim Gheni Uyghur

Nine Western countries including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, and Ireland, as well as The Uyghur Tribunal, have unanimously determined that the Chinese government’s henious crimes in East Turkestan amount to GENOCIDE.

The European Union has reservedly determined that there is “a serious risk” of genocide.

The United Nations ( under constant pressure from China) has recently declared that China’s treatment of Uyghurs MAY amount to CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY.

Why is the ongoing act of genocide being downgraded as the evidence undeniably piles up?

19 members of my family have disappeared into China’s huge network of concentration camps along with over 3 million other Uyghurs.

We must hold the Chinese government accountable for the GENOCIDE of the Uyghurs in East Turkestan . The downgrading or denial of the horrific genocide is never acceptable.
Downgrading the Uyghur genocide is seen as complicit in the crime committed by the Chinese government. At the same time, it would be an act of rewarding to the culprits striving to deepen the pain of the genocide victims.
